Short Bio

Dr. Hao Peng is an Assistant Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since August 2023. He is actively working on astrodynamics problems and machine learning applications in aerospace engineering problems. Their work emphasizes on the uniqueness and exclusiveness of the problems that are suitable and may only be solved by the machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Dr. Peng's research interests extend to orbital dynamics, attitude estimation and control, guidance, navigation, and control (GNC), and other operational challenges. He welcomes outstanding students and researchers to join ERAU in their pursuit of space exploration.
